Proceeds will go to support scholarships for Spelman students. The winning bids will be announced in May 2024.
Pottery Bowl
The Spelman College ’84 reunion committee will also offer a keepsake bowl that embodies the spirit of Spelman College and can be cherished on any occasion. This customized bowl will have the Spelman College tagline “A Choice to Change the World” and colors. The bowl will be 10″ in diameter, 3.5″ tall and priced at $150 each. You will be able to purchase these bowls from December 2023 to May 2024.
The potter of this bowl is Whitney Simpkins. Whitney began selling ceramics in 2016 as a way to part with all the extra cups and bowls that hadn’t been given away to friends. Years later, Personal Best Ceramics evolved into a bit more than cups and bowls, and her ceramics have found their way to many, many new friends.
